I found that it was indeed very powerful as I had heard but that I was able to handle it on low and even though it was stimulating such a large area rather than a concentrated point, I found that to be a benefit rather than a drawback.
I would say having that much stimulation was a bonus for me because I often have a difficult time climaxing with vibrators and this one was very straightforward and worked very well in a very short amount of time.
